Contest: Invite your Facebook friends to become fans of Just Because Flowers

1. Type Just Because Flowers in your Facebook search bar to visit our Facebook page 
2. Click on the “Suggest This” tab at the top of the page (between Info and Photos) – you must use this application or we cannot keep track of your invites
3. Click “Suggest to Friends” (#2)
4. Click “Allow”
5. Invite all of your friends (there is a limit to how many you can invite per day)
6. Either email more invitations or click “skip”

Increase your invites: Post an invitation directly to your “Wall”

1. Return to the Just Because Flowers Facebook page
2. Click on the “Suggest This” tab
3. Click “Suggest to Friends” (#2)
4. Click “Post to your Facebook stream” at the top of the page
5. Click “Publish”

Over the next two weeks (July 21 - August 4), each friend that visits the Just Because Flowers Facebook page through one of your invitations will count as an accepted invitation.  The fan with the most accepted invitations will receive a $50 custom flower arrangement.  The runner-up will receive a $35 arrangement.

On behalf of our two winners, we will also be donating an arrangement to two more of our favorite Grannies.

Our First Granny Delivery!!!

Today we delivered our first Granny delivery to Granny Jeanne.  Granny Jeanne was born in 1925.  She is the proud mother of three children, but does not get to see them as often as she would like.  Besides being a mother, she also spent 22 years as a nurse’s aide working with newborns.
She has been in a rest home for just over a year now, but she likes to kid that it has been 11.  Sometimes she even jokes that she purchased the furniture.  
Granny Jeanne loves flowers; in fact, this week she spent most of her time helping the rest home employees plant flowers around the home.  But, she could not believe that our delivery today was for her.  She kept smiling and saying, “They are so beautiful!”  After we left, the rest home called to thank us, saying that Granny Jeanne sobbed because no one had ever done something like that for her.
